Brit to spend life in prison for murdering wife, baby in US

WOBURN, Massachusetts — A British man convicted of shooting dead his wife and nine-month-old daughter was sentenced Thursday to life in prison without possibility of parole.
"These crimes are incomprehensible. They defy comprehension because they involve the planned and deliberate murders of the defendant's wife and nine-month-old child, in violation of bonds that we recognize as central to our identities as human beings," Judge Diane Kottmeyer told the court.
