Prison officials stop escape attempt

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas -The McConnel Unit at Beeville's state prison remains under lockdown after two convicted murderers were discovered missing during a morning inmate count Wednesday.
The prison was put under lockdown while guards tracked down the two inmates identified as Jeremy Robinson and Abelino Monge. Both men were from minimum security cells.
