Prison guard acquitted in inmate shooting

LAS VEGAS—A former Nevada prison guard says he wants his job back after he was acquitted of battery with a deadly weapon in the shooting of a prison inmate.
A jury on Thursday cleared 33-year-old Paul Chaffee in the December 2006 shooting of Donald Hixon after authorities say Hixon fought with a cellmate at High Desert State Prison.
