Prison guards attacked by convicted murderer

FOX LAKE — A correctional officer remained hospitalized Monday afternoon and a Dodge County prison was placed in lockdown after an inmate attacked two correctional officers. Wisconsin Department of Corrections spokesman John Dipko said Fox Lake Correctional Institution inmate Terrance B. Davis attacked a corrections officer with a claw hammer in the prison's furniture shop about 8:15 a.m. Monday. As a second officer came to the rescue, the 50-year-old Davis turned the hammer on him.
