Two more ex-Peregrine officials handed prison sentences

SAN DIEGO — Two more former officers of the fallen software firm Peregrine Systems have been given federal prison sentences and still await potentially massive orders of restitution, the U.S. Attorney's office said Wednesday.
Matthew C. Gless was sentenced Wednesday to five years and three months in federal prison, while Douglas S. Powanda was given 6-½ years behind bars, U.S. Attorney Karen P. Hewitt said.
