State to close Camden's Riverfront State Prison

CAMDEN, N.J. - Inmates won't be going up the river in Camden. The Courier-Post of Cherry Hill says it obtained a memo from director of custody operations Dean Yatauro that says Riverfront State Prison will close this summer. The Corrections Department says the roughly 780 remaining inmates and 400 employees will be gradually transferred to other state prisons. More...
