2 Martin Correctional inmates have meningitis

INDIANTOWN, Fla. -- Martin Correctional Institution is in a health-related lockdown after at least two inmates contracted bacterial meningitis.
Martin County health department officials say the inmates were in stable condition at local hospitals Monday. The health department worked with the Department of Corrections to provide antibiotic treatment to prison staff and inmates. The lockdown will likely last until the end of the month.
