VICTORVILLE, Calif. -- Officials say guards quelled a disturbance at a federal prison in Southern California that left five inmates injured.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons says multiple fights between several inmates broke out Friday evening at the medium security facility in Victorville.
Five inmates were transported to local hospitals to be treated for injuries. No staff members were injured. The institution was placed on lockdown pending an investigation. More... PrisonerPal.com
