Jail inmate's death ruled a suicide

WATERLOO, Iowa (AP) — Officials say the death of an inmate at the Black Hawk County jail has been ruled a suicide.

Sheriff's Capt. Rick Abben says an autopsy performed by the state medical examiner confirmed that 33-year-old Michael Adair died after hanging himself.
