No sighting of escaped prison inmate in Montana

DEER LODGE, Mont. (AP) — Montana State Prison officials said Wednesday there have been no sightings of an escaped inmate or the pickup truck he is suspected of taking from the prison ranch.

Steven Robb, 47, of Great Falls was reported missing Tuesday, prison spokeswoman Linda Moodry said.

He left in a blue GMC pickup with a flatbed and license plate number MSP 344, she said.

The Great Falls Tribune reported that Robb was sentenced to 20 years after pleading guilty to aggravated burglary and assault for breaking into his estranged wife's house in 1987 and attacking a man with a metal bar and baseball bat.  More
