CASTAIC, Calif. -- Brawling erupted among dozens of inmates at a Los Angeles County jail that left about 20 of them with minor injuries.
Sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker says 63 inmates fought for about 10 minutes Sunday afternoon in a dormitory at Pitchess Detention Center.
He says when the prisoners ignored orders to stop, deputies used "clear out" gas and "sting balls" - which deploy rubber pellets - to halt the melee. More PrisonerPal.com True Crime Today Magazine Subscriptions for Prisoners since 1975
