ALLENTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A Pennsylvania prison inmate is dead after officials say he struggled with guards after being restrained in a suicide prevention cell.
Officials say an autopsy will be performed on 25-year-old David Campbell after he died early Sunday morning after being restrained in a chair at Lehigh County Prison.
Authorities say Campbell had been behaving erratically and had to be pepper sprayed and restrained after refusing to change into a smock used to prevent inmates from hanging themselves with their clothes. More PrisonerPal.com True Crime Today Magazine Subscriptions for Prisoners since 1975
