An inmate at the Cascade County Detention Center was in court Monday on an allegation that he stabbed another inmate during a Bible study session.
Jory Russell Strizich, 21, is charged with felony assault with a weapon. According to court documents, Strizich used a homemade weapon to stab Daniel Dahlin late Sunday night.
An affidavit from the Cascade County Sheriff's Office states that five men were having a Bible study session in one of the cells before a 10 p.m. head count. Strizich allegedly walked into the cell and attacked Dahlin, stabbing him several times with a sharp object in the face and neck.
