Four Attica prison guards accused of gang assault on inmate

Four Attica prison corrections officers were arrested Tuesday on a host of charges, including the felony charge of gang assault, for an alleged attack on an inmate over the summer.

Conspiracy and tampering with physical evidence, both felonies, and official misconduct, a misdemeanor, also were charged in the indictment of Keith Swack, 37, of Corfu, Genesee County; Sean Warner, 37, of Belfast, Allegany County; Matthew Raddemacher, 29, of Wyoming, Wyoming County; and Erik Hibsch, 28, of Gainesville, Wyoming County.

The Wyoming County District Attorney's Office alleges that the four conspired to assault inmate George Williams on Aug. 9 at the Attica Correctional Facility.  More
