Former prison case worker sentenced for lying about relationship with inmate

Kansas City, Kansas — A former case manager with the federal Bureau of Prisons was sentenced Monday for lying about a sexual affair she had with an inmate at the U.S. Penitentiary in Leavenworth. Jennifer Stambaugh, 36, Overland Park, Kan., was sentenced Monday in U.S. District Court in Kansas to six months house arrest plus six months probation and a $3,000 fine for lying when she told investigators she never had sex with an inmate at the U.S. Penitentiary in Leavenworth.
