Ex-inmate says he saw deadly beating at OC jail

SANTA ANA, Calif. -- A former Orange County jail inmate says he heard a prisoner moaning as others took turns beating him in a deadly attack.
Luis Palacios testified Wednesday at the trial of five inmates charged with killing John Chamberlain in 2006 at Theo Lacy jail. Three others have pleaded guilty and a fourth awaits trial.
